Divergence IV - 'A New Hope' by jurialmunkey

Este tema es muy bueno es el primero y único tema que uso y use en linux, único problema es que esta quedando desfasado y no se integra bien por el tema gtk3. Si existe alguien que pueda modificarlo o me de alguna idea de como hacerlo para portarlo a gtk3 sin perder su esencia estaría muy agradecido.

Hi ! I used Ubuntu Tweak to install your theme but only icons was installed. You know how to do ?
In Apparence I do not have an "intall" button...

Mind if I use this for a Linux distribution I am developing? I can't say much about it over comments because it is in early stages, but I would love to use this as the default theme!

It's great，but i had some trouble.

When I put my window from the maximum state is switched to the normal state, the button disappeared, button area is transparent.

How can i fix it?

this looks great but in ubuntu 12.04 there's no install in the Appearance preferences (assuming you mean the one under System settings) and it doesn't show up in gnome-tweak if A-New-Hope.tar.gz is extracted to .themes manually either.. wat do?

please port this to something newer or fix it for using with either nautilus or pantheon-files or marlin or something, cause nautilus elementary is gone! . Btw: best theme evar! , nothing compares to this, seriously, if it only was usable...

Beautiful theme, now using and hacking

I've been using this since I first saw it, but I'm wondering; any chance we get a gtk3-port of this? Is seems more and more inevitable that I end up seeing gtk3 stuff on my desktop sooner or later

Disregard my last comment, I finally got it working after a few hours of installing packages. There's one thing I just can't get right. When I apply the theme without Emerald the border (which doesn't have transparency) looks correctly rounded, but when I turn on Emeraldand the transparency looks good there's something wrong with the window border, over the title the border seems blurry and looks 1 px down off where it's supposed to be.
If anyone has something on it I would appreciate it.

Hey there folks, I'm kinda new in this so I can't install the theme correctly. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, I and I just want to know how to make it work like the one in the image. What's Emerald? And AWN?
I'm just asking because i've downloaded it and installed it but I just can't get it right.

I love this theme but I'm not getting it to work quite right. I have the latest version of Murrine and Emerald installed and I've tried emerald --replace plenty of times now, but the transparency does not work, nor does setting the title to be on the right side. I'm running Arch Linux with MATE right now.

I love this theme, however it doesn't work correctly. The window colors don't change. I always get this error in terminal, usually when dealing with nautilus.

When I click 2 times on Customize.py nothing happens. I tried to open it from terminal but it returns this:

Almost everything worksperfectly for me. However, in your screenshots the menu bar and toolbars are a dark charcoal color. Mine are a very bland grey. This is the only thing keeping my desktop from being gorgeous. Thanks in advance.

I can't seem to get this to go transparent. I've done the Compiz/Emerald thing... it keeps saying it can't find the file/command. Can someone help?!?! Please!

let me get it straight .....

in order for the theme to work :

1) you have used 3 awn panels
2)gnome panel is still on the top but it have invisible background(not expandable mode)
2.a) or gnome panel disabled and 4 awn panels used las one you did not picked style so it is clear ..... when you disabled gnome panel no right click action on desktop and no folders.....
3) background picture have additional black points on the corners

am i close to the solution ?

okay so basically I talked about really liking gnome shell, I'm a new
user I thought it would be easy-er to find no click function on
activities if you put and triangle or half circle in the corner there.
I would also like to be able to navigate with directional keys on
gnome desktop eg. left right to go between windows and applications
then down to and using directional keys navigate applications or open
applications. hold left key and use up and down to scroll in left
category menu or between work spaces
maybe also hold left and up and down keys to scroll the dash but then
I realized these keys might not work well together
you guys do a awesome job
gnome-intuitive and productive
Linux is not about a mouse with one button.
